Multimedia knowledge

Understanding multimedia presentation

Understanding how multimedia works is essential for communicating ideas clearly and creatively. From visual storytelling to user interaction, this section explores key concepts that shaped my work throughout the course—including cognitive load theory, animation principles, and the role of design thinking in creating impactful digital experiences.

“Blowing Stars”

Assessment 1

The animation embedded in this HTML file represents my first major attempt at creating an animated piece using Adobe Animate. Titled “Blowing Star”, the work aimed to convey emotion and atmosphere through motion, simplicity, and pacing. The process involved drawing in Adobe Illustrator, motion tweens and publishing the final composition to HTML and JavaScript.

“Evolution of Automobiles”

Assessment 2

Project Overview For Assessment 2, I was tasked within the group to create an interactive website designed to communicate visual ideas in a engaging way. The focus was on clarity and smooth user experience with usability, multimedia integration, and responsive design.
